Dr. Jimenez and his team are working hard to develop an international hospital in San Felipe. The new facility will provide a much needed maternity ward so that local mothers will not have to travel an hour and a half to Mexicali to give birth, greatly reducing the risk for mother and newborn when complications arise during delivery.

The hospital will also provide a trauma center which will allow commercial airlines to fly in and out of San Felipe.

Dr. Jiménez joined us for Happy Hour at Pete's Camp where we presented him with another wheelchair and a rolling walker for the International Hospital.

The 6th Annual San Felipe Songwriters Festival Nov 8-10, 2019 raised an additional $684 for HISP.
