San Felipe is located just 125 miles south from the California border at Calexico/Mexicali on the Gulf side of the Baja penninsula. It's about a 2-1/2 hour drive, the roads are well-paved, well-traveled and very safe.
Check out this STELLAR LINEUP!
You can sun on white sand beaches and swim in warm waters, discover the dessert and the magnificent Sierra Madre sunsets. You could have one of the best fishing experiences of your life or visit the Valley of Giant Cactus. The Sea of Cortez is known as the "world's aquarium."
San Felipe is also well known as the "Shrimp Capital of Baja."
Hotel Las Palmas is an authentic Mexican hacienda style hotel where you can relax, eat fresh fish and seafood, home made pastas, and pizza in the two ouststanding restaurants and bars on site. The grounds are spacious and beautiful with a pool, patios and verandas, sandy vollyball court, gym, BBQs and free WiFi.
Las Palmas was the last home of “Alfredo” (1988-2024) the original creator of Fettuccine Alfredo, introduced to America by him in the 50’s. You'll see photos of some of the celebrities he served in his 35 years in Mexico City, like Marylin Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Jane Mansfield. Today, his daughter, Chef Palma Bellinghieri Anbar, celebrates Alfredo’s dream and makes his vision a reality. It is only one block to the beach, four blocks to the malecon.
Rockodile is a well known hot spot, restaurant, bar, nightclub and hangout on the malecon by the beautiful Sea of Cortez.
